The pneumatic level control is used to detect adhesive level in reservoir and to provide a signal to operate fill pump and maintain a constant level in reservoir (+/- 1/8”). The control utilizes an aluminum tube inserted into the reservoir at the desired fill level of the adhesive. The control detects the level pneumatically and incorporates a high level failsafe feature to ensure against overfilling of the reservoir. The control also includes a timing relay to cancel out intermittent or false trigger signals and can be used to allow a greater drop in level until refilling occurs. The output of the PLC can be configured to generate a voltage output to operate a solenoid, or a dry isolated contact output to interface to a pump control circuit.

Pneumatic requirements – 20psi clean, dry air, less than 1scfm.
