This adhesive patterning allows for focused, concentrated bonding of hot melt with dots rather than a thin overall layer of hot melt. Using dots to bond substrates or "Zone Coating" has the effect of reducing adhesive consumption, can increase laminated substrate flexibility and is a cleaner application method eliminating messy "Stringing" off the coating wheel.
Delivery for these units with a patterned roll is 2 to 8 weeks depending on stock. The smaller 7's and 11's are the shortest lead time.Custom drilled patterns will cost approximately 25% more and extend the delivery of the system.
