Hello Pierce,
I would just like to thank you again for all the help you
have provided for our company in the last few months. After we redesigned
our boxes it became vary obvious that the bottle neck in the packaging
process was stapling and then taping the boxes.
As we started looking for alternatives the choice became
extremely obvious. The only choice was to use hot melt adhesive. What
was more obvious was the only company to purchase a glue system from was
Glue Machinery.
In one phone call we were able to determine the system,
the add-ons, and also the correct adhesive for our application. Now with
the system in place we have cut the time of sealing by more than half.
To our surprise that was not the biggest benefit of gluing.
Our damaged boxes and lost parts are noticeably less. When Fed Ex damages
the boxes it is the cardboard that tears not the glue releasing. We often
joke that when the customer receives the package they will have to burn
the box to get their item out. What a great product from a great company!

Hey Pierce,
Just finished two jobs with the
Shot Pot with Timer for a total of approximately
50,000 trays. That's 200,000 glue dots (dime sized dots) and
we still have glue left over from the 25 lb box we purchased with the system.
We have become so good at this gluing process that we are doing 70 trays
or 280 dots in 4 minutes (sustainable for 50- 60 minutes)! Our fastest time
was 70 trays or 280 dots in 3 minutes 35 seconds! That is 280 dots in 225
seconds!
The machine works great! We are way faster and less fatigued at the end
of a job, using the Shot
Pot with Timer.

Just wanted to let you know that the Shot Pot worked
GREAT. A quick mod to the eye bracket, a call to John for adjustment on
the eye, and we were off and running. It was no problem running 45-60
per min.-- Probably more if we could stay up with it!
